–The school year CANNOT end fast enough. Ugh. Three more weeks until lovely summer…
–Baby Girl is army-crawling. She is FAST. She is most motivated to crawl toward the TV (currently still sitting on the floor from the move), laptop cables, the cat (her favorite thing on earth), my books (ripped two covers off yesterday), and the doorstop/spring/thingy behind the door (which she removed from the wall in about 3 seconds flat). She has also developed the ability to sound like a motorboat as she runs around the place. Andrew and I can’t duplicate this sound. We have tried.
–Andrew and I went to Target last night and purchased a new carseat (already!), a baby gate, and baby-proofing tools. I have never felt so boring in my life.
–Our new furniture came today. I am ridiculously excited about having matching bedroom furniture for the first time ever. Andrew has big plans to plant his rear in his new recliner and never leave. I may have to install a secret ejector seat.
I always thought I’d be one of those moms who took my kids out to play instead of staying cooped up inside all day. It is gorgeous out, so off I go.
Go outside and play!
