In the interest of making my friends laugh at me (I’m just that kind of person), I am making a desperate plea for help. Since you guys are all over the country, I’m going to try to take advantage of that. I need your help (and I’m sure to receive some brilliantly sarcastic tidbits as well-you know who you are, dear ones).
I NEED TO FIND THIS BLASTED BEAR!
My child has become very attached to the one stuffed animal she owns that is both white and non-machine-washable. Never mind the 100 pink bears she has with this very same phrase stitched on the tummy. She has rejected all others that look pretty much the same to me. I don’t think it’s Gund and didn’t come from Cracker Barrel, but that’s about all I know. I’m fairly certain that I got this at one of my baby showers, so if this was from you, you win the “best baby gift” prize! My searching so far has come up with nothing. I’m totally serious (and laughing at myself on the inside), but this is the magic key to all naps and night-time sleeping! Please keep your eyes open when you’re out shopping. I will pay you whatever you want to ship it to me (no extortion, please). He’s about to fall apart and I’m nervous. He’s about 6-7 inches tall and used to be sort of stiff (arms and legs straight out). Look how happy he makes her:
