I just can’t stop looking at the news.
There are thousands of images out there that are just unbelievable.
This was our exit on Saturday:

I can’t imagine the panic and sadness people must have felt abandoning their cars and homes. I keep getting stuck on the image of being trapped in the car with Baby Girl and trying to figure out what to do–and it didn’t even happen to me. The grand total of our damage is a few wet boxes, some splashy carpet, and the very minor inconvenience of trying to conserve as much water as possible. There’s a lot of devastation out there yet to be even uncovered in Nashville and most of the surrounding counties.
Once the water goes down, people are going to need more help in a major way. Let’s all step up and do our part.
